Tree Planting with UpstateTrees
UpstateTrees and Noble Tree Foundation partnered to plant several trees at elementary schools across the upstate. Trees Coalition and Shnieder Tree and Shrub Care joined for this excellent cause. We participated at Jesse Bobo Elementary School and WestView Elementary School.
MLK Day of Service
Trees Coalition Partnered with Partners for Active Living and United Way for a great work day on the Rail Trail. Our main objective was removing over a THOUSAND chinese privet saplings before they grew up and require much more effort. This group showed up and showed out despite the freezing weather.
Free Chapel Service Work
Free Chapel Church of Spartanburg joined some of our other volunteers for a clean up day cutting out overgrown paper mulberry trees. These guys know how to work and have some fun at the same time!
